Jos Bakker's team receives the award for its CSR Policy: the CSR Quality Mark in accordance with ISO 26000.

These are busy weeks for the CSR Quality Mark Committee. One nomination follows another and one company after the other starts the process to add the CSR Quality Mark – ISO 26000. Corporate Social Responsibility will only become more important in the future and certification is a good option to combat greenwashing. Jos Bakker, for example, decided after a thorough thorough investigation of its CSR Policy that it was time to set the ISO 26000 yardstick next to it.

The preparations were therefore observed at short notice. Under the leadership of Jos Bakker, José Quist and Luke Luten worked out the entire CSR Policy. The fact that Luten studies Business Administration part-time was, of course, a successful contribution to this. Inspector Van de Brug was allowed to face well-developed evidence and noted the necessary scores across the board of the 3 P's.

In the field of People, people with a distance to the labor market are involved in the organization. In addition, the sustainable employability of all staff members is increased overall. Offering company fitness, a special desk chair and a backpack vacuum cleaner make working pleasant. A detailed policy with regard to training, a carpool policy and involving the creativity of the staff by means of a suggestion box could count on approval.

On the Planet side, efforts are being made to reduce CO2 emissions and Cleaning products are selected on the basis of EU Ecolabel or Cradle-to-Crade certification. However, the organization wants to go even further. For example, all the old paper and cardboard is not thrown away but collected especially for 'Het Vergeten Kind'. Finally, the Profit side showed support for social initiatives and the selection of CSR suppliers.

Inspector Van de Brug was therefore allowed to record a completed score, which allowed the awarding of the CSR Quality Mark. Jos Bakker is therefore the next in a large series of new companies that can call themselves a CSR Quality Mark holder in accordance with ISO 26000.

From this place, the CSR Quality Mark Committee conveys its heartfelt congratulations to the team of Jos Bakker Schoonmaakbedrijf with obtaining the CSR Quality Mark in accordance with ISO 26000.
