Director Gregoire receives the CSR Quality Mark – ISO 26000 from inspector Van der Werff.

The municipality of Westland is located in South Holland, a region that is known for its greenhouse horticulture and orange glow that illuminates the sky in the evening. Where does that orange glow come from? For the assimilation lighting in the greenhouses, Westland is also called 'the Glass City'. However, the region has even more features that can be attributed to her. While countless villages and towns have only initiated sustainability initiatives in recent years, the Westland region has been ahead of them for years. For 10 years now, CSR Westland has been working on promoting the business climate in a responsible manner. This involves collaboration with Patijnenburg to put sheltered employment into practice in collaboration with entrepreneurs from Westland.

Schoon Westland has been a driving force behind this climate for many years and is therefore making structural work on its CSR policy. This policy is not only realized through a collaboration with Patijnenburg, Schoon Westland goes further. The organization also takes a number of steps each year on the Planet side and Profit side. This is therefore carefully measured against the ISO 26000 bar, of which a concrete report is drawn up. Inspector Van der Werff was recently again able to record a good result, a result that confirmed that Schoon Westland fully possesses the CSR identity of the Westland:

'The continuous safeguarding and improvement of the CSR policy has been officially part of the company's marketing and communication plan since this year, so that CSR is observed both internally and externally. A good score for employership in the employee satisfaction survey and a positive assessment in the customer satisfaction survey is confirmation. In 2021, various steps were taken in the field of CSR, which is reflected in a higher rating during the CSR quality mark test.'

The compliments of the MVO Quality Mark Committee therefore go to Schoon Westland with this wonderful result!
