Owner Legters receives the CSR Quality Mark in accordance with the European ISO 26000 guideline.

The MVO Quality Mark Committee has been informed of the fact that the MVO Quality Mark has not gone unnoticed in the spirits sector either. Distillery De Bronckhorst from Zelhem took up the challenge of certification. This resulted in proof that proved successful across the board, after which Inspector Kuipers was allowed to award the coveted CSR Quality Mark certificate in accordance with ISO 26000 to a special organization.

It almost takes the storytelling subject to fully explain the story. Owner Legters has summed up the origin of the organization in the powerful term 'from cow to grain, from grain to drink.' It may describe the Achterhoek coziness, but certainly also the entrepreneurial mentality of De Bronckhorst. The distillery ensures that the entire process is kept in-house.

Nature and craft come together, first of all the owner keeps rare Dahomey cows that are kept free of antibiotics and medicines. To the layman, these cows are easy to distinguish from Western cows, although they do look very similar, this African cattle breed is a lot smaller than its cousin. Heifers are only 80 to 90 cm tall, bulls 90 to 100 cm. In the process, the healthy manure from these cattle is spread on De Bronckhorst's own arable land. This is where the barley for the Dahomey Single Malt Whiskey and the Old Dutch Jenever comes to maturity.

Where the craft process begins: the Dahomey dwarf cattle from De Bronckhorst.

Inspector Kuipers was then allowed to reflect on the process of harvesting, malting, brewing, distilling and lagering. This takes place in-house, completely free of chemicals or fragrances, colors and flavors.

Legters continues to work on the basis of a piece of circularity that also pays off. Excess fruit from many fruit growers in the Achterhoek is delivered to De Bronckhorst. Legters processes it a high-quality fruit eau de vie. It might be a recurring fact on the evidence of the Planet component, Legters occupies a position here that the consumer can feel very good about. Continuously based on circularity, with only an eye for the artisanal process. And you know, you can taste that in the very tasteful drinks under the Achterhoek guise: 'da mo'j g'woon's pruven.

It was therefore allowed to result in good scores for the components of selecting suppliers and being selected by consumers. For example, with the selection requirement 4.4 from Profit, a point or even a few points is often spilled. The very good conditions also contribute to a wide range of evidence in the field of People. Whether our inspector has consumed a sample after the ISO 26000 inspection is unknown to us, nevertheless we can recommend this CSR responsible organization, open corona-proof on Saturdays!

The CSR Quality Mark Committee would like to congratulate the team of Distillery De Bronckhorst on having obtained the CSR Quality Mark in accordance with ISO 26000!
