Inspector van der Werff (l.) presents the CSR Quality Mark – ISO 26000 to Mr. Zijerveld.

The total supplier of European cheeses was created by the merger of three organizations and works from a new building with a large number of employees. Van der Werff therefore noted that it is at the very least special that the company has worked on an extensive CSR policy from the start, a CSR policy that is even further shaped by the driving force of a CSR steering group. in which employees participate.

The CSR steering group therefore acts as a driving force behind the organisation, and all employees are involved in the implementation of CSR. It is precisely thanks to this thorough interpretation based on the conviction of the management that CSR becomes visible and demonstrable. It was allowed to touch the essence of a wide range of ISO 26000, clearly addressed CSR topics could be provided with a score.

The active and structural CSR policy could therefore become visible in the long term with a view to future checklists. Van der Werff was able to conclude clearly: 'with this vision and approach, this organization fully deserves the CSR Quality Mark.'
