After the successful audit, ATS Transport BV receives the CSR Quality Mark – ISO 26000.

The CSR quality mark has also not gone unnoticed in the transport sector. In the meantime, the Quality Mark Committee was allowed to consider the first registrations and the first inspection was completed in Wijchen. ATS Transport BV and ATS Express Koeriers BV have been committed to Corporate Social Responsibility for years. Like Mrs. Van Veen quoted: 'Despite the fact that the transport sector is a polluter, we do our best to make a positive contribution to the environment and society.

But how do you distinguish yourself further and can you actually go so far as to comply with the ISO 26000 guideline? Do you actually elevate that guideline to the standard, do you dare to face the inspection at all? The term 'more sustainable transport' is well known in the sector, the inspector knows what greenwashing is, how do you actually prove that you are really involved in CSR?

By driving CO2 neutral. By actually working together with the UWV, and actually donating part of the profits to non-profit organizations. By demonstrating that this is a reasonable percentage and by demonstrating that the fleet has been further expanded this year with two 100% electric E-TGEs. As one of the managers aptly put it in ATS's CSR policy: 'we offer compensation for our sector.' And that is precisely what touches the essence of Corporate Social Responsibility: to use the earth's raw materials, but do so responsibly and compensate where necessary. This affects the ISO 26000 guideline as the standard and brings theory into practice.

A wide range of evidence was presented across the board of the 3 Ps, well exceeding the required score at ISO 26000. Inspector Van der Werff is normally not known for giving high scores, but ATS Transport BV left the Quality Mark Committee astonished. This will be discussed for a while, ATS's CSR philosophy.

We would like to congratulate management, relations and employees with this special result!
